Thomas McGivney - President & Founder

Thomas was born and raised in Bethpage, New York. He started playing baseball at a very

young age. Starting out with little league and continuing into high school where for two

consecutive years he made Nassau All County Team. Upon graduation from high school he

received a scholarship to play ball at Lamar University. He was drafted out of college second

round to the Texas Rangers and played professional baseball for several years. Injuries

shortened his career but his love for baseball continued. He went on to become a small

business owner for over 35 years illustrating his hardworking, hustle and teamwork driven

personality. Being a father of three daughters sparked his passion to work with children;

coaching softball for over 10 years. A motivating and energetic coach, Tom connects closely

with players. His passion for and deep understanding of the game comes through with each

player he works with.

Lisa Ann Strazzeri - Vice President

Lisa Ann was born and raised in Bethpage, New York. She graduated from Hofstra University

with a BS in Business Administration. She pursued a career in business for over 25 years and is

currently the Purchasing Agent for the Village of Rockville Centre. Simultaneously she went on

to marry and raise two children. While raising her children she was very active in her community

supporting any sporting interests they may have had. She is religious and passionate about

helping others. She believes keeping young people involved in sports will help them achieve

any goal they set for themselves.

Sean Kelly - Board Secretary

Sean Kelly brings a wealth of experience to his role as a board member of our nonprofit organization, which is dedicated to teaching children the joys and skills of baseball. Holding an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BS in Accounting from Dowling College, Sean has developed a distinguished career in finance and operational leadership focusing on transportation and logistics. His career highlights include significant roles such as Director of Finance at Purolator International and Vice President of Finance at Verra Mobility.


Apart from his professional accomplishments, Sean has passionately contributed to community sports as a youth soccer coach for seven years. His experience in coaching has not only honed his leadership skills but also deepened his commitment to youth development and community service. This blend of professional acumen and dedication to sports makes Sean a valuable asset to our organization as we aim to nurture young talent and foster a love for baseball in the community
